Garlic project in Jinxiang couty has received financial support
20/10/2011In the reply of exper review of the characteristics of industrial projects across the province on July 22, 2011, “the special project of garlic further processing in Jinxiang county” which declared by the Finance Bureau in Jinxiang county obtained review and permission by experts at No. 9 with the score of 79.3 in the province, and received the financial support of 7 million yuan from Shandong province.
In recent years, Jinxiang couty took full advantage of garlic industry, vigorously supported the garlic further processing enterprises, and gradually formed production and business groups of marketization of garlic production, sales, service and other intensification, and a chain. Garlic deep processing industry begins to take shape, Huaguang Group, Hongchang Fruits&Vegetable , Dongyun Refrigeration, Chenggong Fruit and Vegetable, Tianma Refrigeration and a number of deep processing enterprises have developed and produced more than 40 varieties of deep processed products like garlic capsules, garlic oil , garlic polysaccharide, garlic particles, garlic powder, mashed garlic, black garlic and other kinds of garlic based on advantages of the industry, and increasing investments in technology. The products have been exported to more than 130 countries and regions like Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia relying on the vast agricultural R & D Lt.co. as a service platform. In 2010, the volume of export has reached 434 million dollars and in the first quarter 2011 the earnings are 130 million dollars.
The provincial government will enroll “the special industrial projects of Jinxiang garlic deep processing” in the local characteristics of the industry to support, which will make the quality and level of Jinxiang special garlic industry and the development of industrial clusters higher and will be a strong impetus to the local regional economic development.
